Good Stocks Now – Updated 12/10/2017

5-Star and 4-Star Stocks- List Updated   December 10, 2017

There are thousands of stocks. It is not humanly possible to study astro-charts of all of them to find the best few. I have therefore studied about 500 stocks, which are either the leading stocks of present time or recently IPO’d and show good promise in near future.
If a stock-chart is good in every respect such as running a good period, having good planetary strength, etc., I call it a 5-star stock. If it is slightly weak in one respect or other, I call it a 4-star stock. I do not consider any stock-chart, which is less than 4-star chart. Here is my present list of 5- and 4-star charts. New additions are highlighted in BLUE.

Growth Stocks:

Among the well-established companies, the good growth stocks are:

5-star: Apple Co  (AAPL), Priceline (PCLN), Monster Beverages (MNST), Netease (NTES), F-Five (FFIV), Home Depot (HD), Fossil (FOSL), Berkshire (BRKB), Du-Pont (DD), Boeing (BA), IBM (IBM), Caterpillar (CAT), United Technology (UTX), Minnesota Mining (MMM), Texas Instr (TXN), Dollar Tree (DLTR), Panera (PNRA), JPMorgan (JPM), T-Row Price (TROW), Alexion (ALXN), Regeneron Pharma (REGN),  Range Resources (RRC), Stericycle (SRCL), Amgen (AMGN), Edward Life Sciences (EW), Isis Pharmaceuticals (ISIS) etc.

4-star: Chipotle (CMG), Baidu (BIDU), Amzon (AMZN), Autozone (AZO), Lululemon (LULU), Biogen (BIIB), Netsuite (N), Starbux (SBUX), Qualcomm (QCOM), Intuitive Surgical (ISRG), Buffalo Wild (BWLD), Ross Stores (ROST), Spirit Aerospace (SPR), Qihu 360 (QIHU), Dollar General (DG), Celgene (CELG), Darling Intern (DAR), Alliant Tech (ATK),  Under Armour (UA), etc.

Among the new companies, the good stocks are:

5-star: Netflix (NFLX), Beacon Roofing (BECN), Palo Alto Network (PANW), Tesla Motors (TSLA), Facebook (FB), Trip Advisor (TRIP), Arista Network (ANET), JD.COM (JD), Alibaba (BABA),   Kite Pharma (KITE), Lending Club (LC), Vipshop Holdings (VIPS), Ziopharm Oncology (ZIOP), Restoration Hardware (RH), Fitbit (FIT), Paypal (PYPL), Paycom Software (PAYC), BOFI Holdings (BOFI), Delta Airlines (DAL), Nvidia Corp (NVDA), Silicon Motion (SIMO), Core Mark Holdongs (CORE),  Minerva Neurosciences (NERV), Acadia Pharmaceuticals (ACAD), Ulta Cosmetics (ULTA), Exelixis Corp (EXEL), STMicroelectronics (STM), Bluebird Bio (BLUE),  Oclaro Inc (OCLR), Straight Path Communications (STRP), Salesforce (CRM), United Healthcare (UNH), Square (SQ), WIX.com Ltd (WIX), New Oriental Edu (EDU), Roku Inc (ROKU), 58.com (WUBA), Dana Holdings (DAN), etc.

4-star: Visa (V), Dunkan Brands (DNKN), Gen Motors (GM), Sensata (ST), Financial Engines (FNGN), VMWare (VMW), Fire-eye (FEYE), GNC Holdings (GNC), Arris Group (ARRS), RICE Energy (RICE), Molina health care (MOH), U.S.Silica (SLCA),  American Airlines (AAL), Virgin Atlantic (VA), Bojangles (BOJA), Zoes Kitchen (ZOES), Gopro (GPRO),  Pfenex Inc (PFNX), Luxoft Holdings (LXFT), Service Now (NOW),  Agios Pharmaceuticals (AGIO), Biotelemetry (BEAT), Tesaro Inc (TSRO), Wellcare Health Plan (WCG), Twitter (TWTR), Align Technology (ALGN), RCI Hospitality (RICK), Solar Edge (SEDG), Planet Fitness (PLNT), Grubhub (GRUB), Wingstop Restaurants (WING), etc.

Growth & Income:

5-Star: Philip Morris International (PM), Wal Mart (WMT), Nike (NKE), Ely Lilly (LLY), Merk (MRK), Cognizant (CTSH), Kohlbert Kravis (KKR), Blackstone Group (BX),

If you want one stock for the next 15 years, and don’t want to worry about market’s ups and downs, and still want to beat CD’s, bonds, and majority of stocks, it could only be Berkshire Hathaway (BRKB). Of course one should be willing to accept volatility, and hold this stock through thick and thin. Earlier I have mentioned that such a stock would be Phillip Morris (PM). I have replaced this name with BRKB, because Philip Morris promotes smoking through its products, which have proven to cause serious health problems for the humanity.

Income Stocks:

5-star: American Capital Agency (AGNC), Reality Income (O), Chimera (CIM), Starwood Properties (STWD), Federal Reality Trust (FRT), Chatham Lodging Trust (CLDT), Stag Industrials (STAG), Digital reality (DLR), Extra space (EXR), Independent Reality Trust (IRT), Medley Capital Corp (MCC), Suncoke Energy Partners (SXCP), Summit Hotel Prop (INN) etc.

4-star: CYS Investments (CYS), Calumet (CLMT), Annaly (NLY), Lynn Energy (LINE), TICC Co (TICC), North Tier Energy (NTI), Fifth Street capital (FSC), Sunoco LP (SUN), Newtec Business Serv (NEWT), etc.

I will be continuously adding more good stocks as I study more and more charts. Once again, I would stress that you should consider other factors such as technical and fundamental analysis and your own temperament in addition to astrology while investing. The reason being that the effect of market and sector can override the planetary period pattern in the short term.

What is current list of 5 star and 4 star stocks? Above list looks to be of 2012. Please clarify.

  2. Mrs. Ambekar 20 December 2013 at 6:11 pm Permalink

    Is ddd on your radar?

    • Raj 23 December 2013 at 2:08 am Permalink

      Mrs Ambekar:

Nice to hear from you. How are you and Dr. Ambekar are doing.
It took me some time to respond, because it was a little difficult to find 3D’s IPO date. But I now have a reliable date.
This is a leader stock no doubt, but it is very expansive. The price was $8 in 4/2011, and now it is $80. I will wait until it corrects somewhat.

Please let me know if I can do anything else.

And thank you for so generously sharing your knowledge.
I see that you predict a depressed commodity sector for the first quarter of 2014 but what do you think of PBR, BTU, and CIG? Do they have the signs of a winner?
    How about TUR and RDS.B?
(I am hoping these stocks are among the 500+ you analyzed.)
Thank you very much in advance.

It is difficult to find dependable chart for foreign companies, and for ETF’s and mutual funds, we just cannot have any chart.
However I have a astro-chart for PBR. Jupiter is coming in the Cancer sign in June 2014. That might help PBR.

Just wanted to say I like your paintings, especially the one of the painter in front of the canvas.

Thanks for nice comments. The painting you are talking about is of my father who was a professional artist well known in northern India in 60’s and 70’s.

    Greetings, Dr. Chadha.
Is there a reason why NLY is not included in your 10 picks for 2014, a year that is forecasted to favor real estate stocks? Thank you.
P.S. Your daily and weekly forecasts are right on!

    • Raj 16 March 2014 at 8:46 pm Permalink

Astrologically AGNC has a better chart than NLY. I therefore always favored AGNC.

    Dear Dr Chadha
Great work and thank you for sharing your work. I ran into ICEl July 25 2013 , Madison, wi
Plug 10/29/1999 Latham, ny. What are your thoughts on these stocks

    Thank you

    • Raj 4 April 2014 at 1:18 am Permalink

Thanks for nice comments. If ICEl is Intercontinental exchange, it has very good astro-chart. PLUG is acting very nicely because it is going through a nice transit.
I bought it a few months ago. It may be late to enter now. Be careful.

ICEL appears to be an ordinary stock.
I cannot give you any opinion on buying or selling your stock. You have to decide about that yourself.

I cannot tell you when to sell or buy a stock. I can only say that I am holding a few shares of this company (zero cost basis) for long run.

    Hello, Dr. Raj.
Will you be listing stocks with a strong Jupiter?
Also wondering if you have ever looked at DAL.
    Thank You very much.

    • Raj 26 May 2014 at 3:08 pm Permalink

I was thinking of doing it. Your e-mail inspired me to do it quickly. You can see that I have included a list of stocks on the front page now.

DAL appears to be a good stock, maybe 4* stock.

I enjoy your philosophy & goals & your attempt to educate.

I would love some comments on ETF’s , as I only invest in a few stocks.

I don’t suppose you could comment on broad ETF indexes?, or asset classes?
So many of us have become weary of individual stock investing.
    I’m sure you know that.

    Thank you.

Thanks for the nice comments. If you invests in ETF’s only, you can use the direction of the general market to make your decisions.

      Good luck

    Greetings, Dr. Raj
Just wanted to let you know that I appreciate very much all that you do. I recommended your site to a friend who is learning astrology as he finds financial astrology fascinating as well. Thank you for the new stock picks.

    Hi Raj

Thank you for your good work.

Can you help me check the astrology of Ncr and Armh

    Thank you very much

    Best wishes.

    • Raj 30 November 2014 at 11:36 pm Permalink

I do not have a chart for NCR. ARMH is a British company. It started trading in USA on 4/17/1998.It is possible that it was trading in London before. I therefore would not do any analysis on ARMH.

    Hi Raj,

Do you foresee any Minor OR major upheaval in stock market in near future. Is it risky to indulge in it in current state of affairs?

    • Raj 3 July 2017 at 12:49 am Permalink

I expect the first week of August to be difficult. Other than that I think the market may continue to move sideways or slightly higher.

      Good luck
