Feb 20 – 24, 2023

The S&P500 lost 21 points last week. I was also expecting a slightly lower market.

Here is the expected breakdown for the week of  February 20, 2022, to February 24, 2023.

Venus is the compressed  Dasha planet for the period  Feb 16 – 21 in the new monthly chart. Venus occupies the 4th house in the sign Pisces. Therefore, during this period, the indexes may end only slightly higher.

The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for Feb 22 is Sun. Sun occupies the 3rd house in the sign Aquarius. It rules the 9th house. Since it is very close to Saturn, it may give bad results. The market may therefore go lower on this day.

Moon is the compressed  Dasha planet for the period  Feb 23 – 25 in the new monthly chart. Moon occupies the 2nd house in the sign Capricorn. Therefore, during this period, the indexes may end slightly lower.

Transits during this week:  Mercury and Sun transit through Aquarius during this week. Venus moves into Aries, a sign it dislikes. But it will meet Jupiter in a few days, which should reduce the maleficity of Venus in Aries. Rahu transits Taurus and Ketu Scorpio. The moon moves in Pisces, Aries, and Taurus. Other planets form more unfavorable aspects than favorable ones during the week. The Moon cycle is on the upswing from February 16. This setup can cause the stock market to go higher on Tuesday, lower on Thursday, and flat on Wednesday and Friday. The market is closed on Monday.

Overall this week, the market may be Slightly LOWER or FLAT.

  1. Hello Raj, great work as always, thanks for sharing. May I ask is your daily bias such as bullish for US session only? So if a gap down and you said bearish day, well that has already happened market has opened down, so what then for rest of US session, still bearish until close, or is this to be cautious as drop in price has already occurred?

    • James:
My studies are with reference to the US stock market, as the basis of my monthly study is the NYSE chart. Regarding your other question, please note that I give a general view of the day. You cannot extend it to the opening or closing of the market.
      Raj Chadha
