July 08 – 12, 2024

The S&P500 gained 107 points last week. I was also expecting a higher market. The daily forecast was also reasonably accurate.

Here is the expected breakdown for the week of  July 08, 2024 to July 12, 2024.

The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for  July 03 – July 08 is Venus. Venus rules the tenth house and occupies the seventh house in the sign, Cancer. It sits very close to Mercury. This pair generally gives positive results. As a result, the market may go slightly higher during this period.

The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for  July 09 – July 10 is Sun. Sun rules the 8th house and occupies the 6th house in the sign, Gemini. It makes no aspect with any other planet. It, therefore, acts as a maelfic planet. As a result, the market may go lower during this period.

The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for  July 11 – July 12 is Moon. Moon occupies the 11th house in the sign, Scorpio. Moon is weak as it is fallen. However it makes a trine aspect with the pair of Venus and Mercury occupying the seventh house. As a result, the market may go only slightly higher.

Transits during this week:  Jupiter is well established in the sign Gemini now while Uranus continues to transit through Taurus during this week. Rahu is transiting in Aries and Ketu in Libra. Sun along with Venus are advancing in Cancer. Saturn and Neptune are well established in Pisces. However both have turned retrograde now. Mars is transiting halfway through the sign Taurus. Venus now moves into Leo on July 12, 2024. The Moon moves in Leo, Virgo, and Libra, and through the 3rd Tithi of the bright half to the 7th Tithi of the bright half. The Moon gives poor results in these signs and bad in the first quarter. The Moon and the Sun form bad yogas during this week.  Combining the transit and CVD techniques, the following is my estimate of the daily behavior of the stock market.

Monday: Lower; Tuesday: Lower;   Wednesday: Slightly lower;   Thursday: Higher;   Friday: Slightly higher

Overall, the S&P500 may go slightly lower during this week.
