S&P500 lost 42 points last week. I was expecting a slightly higher market.
Here is the expected breakdown of the week of July 19, 2021 – July 23, 2021.
A new monthly solar return chart is applicable from July 19, which would remain in effect until August 18, 2021. A fallen Moon rises in the ascendant. The lord of the month is Mercury, which is in the sign Cancer. This is not a bad feature. The critical planet Mars rules the malefic sixth house, and a retrograde Saturn opposes it. Mars also has the company of Venus, which rules another malefic, the twelfth house. This is a very bad background for Mars. This month, therefore, may be a down month for the US stocks, where the indexes can end lower.
The compressed Vimshottri Dasha planet for the period July 19 – July 23 is Saturn. Saturn is in its own sign Aquarius and has the aspect of truly malefic Mars. It may therefore produce a negative effect on the stock market and may push the indexes to go lower.
Transits during this week: Mars is in Leo. Venus is also transiting the sign, Leo. Jupiter and retrograde Saturn occupy their own signs. Moon transits Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Capricorn, none of which can be considered good. This setup can cause the stock market to go lower.
