The S&P500 gained 102 points last week. I was also expecting a higher market. The daily forecast was also quite reasonable.
Here is the expected breakdown for the week of November 20, 2023, to November 24, 2023.
A new monthly solar return chart is applicable from November 19 and will stay effective until December 18. The month lord is Mercury, which occupies the 7th house in the sign Sagittarius. This is a neutral feature. Direct Saturn in the sign Pisces occupies the 10th house. Saturn aspects Mars and Sun in Scorpio. This is not a welcome situation. The other important planet is Jupiter. Retrograde Jupiter occupies the 12th house in the sign Taurus along with retrograde Uranus. Jupiter aspects no planet closely. This is also a neutral feature. Venus in Libra is good but the combustion of Mars is bad. Moon occupies the Aquarius sign in the 9th house but makes a square aspect with the Sun and Mars. As a result of a mixture of good and bad influences in the monthly chart, this month looks slightly bad or at best neutral to me.
The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for Nov 19 – 20 is the Mars. Mars rules the 11th house and occupies the 6th house in the sign Scorpio. It makes a close conjunction with Sun, which makes it combust. It may therefore produce poor results to cause the market to trade lower.
Rahu is the compressed Dasha planet for the period of Nov 21 – Nov 24 in this monthly chart. Rahu also occupies the 11th house in the sign Aries. Since Rahu is a benefic planet for the stock market, and is well-placed, the indexes may try to go higher.
Transits during this week: Retrograde Jupiter and Retrograde Uranus continue to transit through Taurus during this week. Rahu is transiting in Aries and Ketu in Libra. Mars and the Sun are transiting through Scorpio, where the Sun combusts Mars. Mercury continues to move directly in Sagittarius. Venus, the key planet, has now moved into Libra, a sign of its preference. Saturn is no longer retrograde in the sign Pisces. The moon moves in Aquarius, Pisces, and Aries. The Moon moves through the 8th Tithi of the bright half to the 12th Tithi of the bright half. The moon gives good results in these Tithis and these signs. During the week, the Moon makes a trine aspect with the Sun and Mars, and Saturn makes a square aspect with the same two planets. Combining the transit and CVD techniques, the following is my estimate of the daily behavior of the stock market.
Monday: Slightly lower; Tuesday: Slightly higher; Wednesday: Higher; Thursday: Closed; Friday: Slightly higher.
