The S&P500 gained 19 points last week. I was also expecting a flat/slightly lower market. However, my daily forecast was quite off this time.
Here is the expected breakdown for the week of October 16, 2023, to October 20, 2023.
The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for Oct 16 – Oct 19 is Jupiter. Jupiter rules the 3rd house and occupies the 8th house in the sign Taurus. It is retrograde and makes a square aspect with Venus. It may therefore produce neutral results to cause the market to stay flat.
A new monthly solar return chart is applicable from October 20 and will stay effective until November 18. The month lord is Mars, which occupies the 7th house in the sign Scorpio. Retrograde Saturn in the sign Pisces occupies the 11th house. The other important planet is Jupiter. Retrograde Jupiter occupies the 1st house in the sign Taurus along with retrograde Uranus. It aspects Mercury in the 9th and fallen Venus in the 5th house. Moon occupies the Capricorn sign in the 9th house and receives the aspect of Jupiter from the 1st house. Jupiter, thus, influences four planets, Uranus, Venus, Mars, and Moon. As a result of predominantly good influences in the monthly chart, this month looks quite good to me.
Venus is the compressed Dasha planet for the period of Oct 19 – Oct 23 in this monthly chart. Venus rules the 6th house and occupies the 5th house in the sign Virgo, which is the sign of its fall. It makes an opposite aspect with Saturn. The indexes may go lower on this day.
Transits during this week: Retrograde Jupiter and Retrograde Uranus continue to transit through Taurus during this week. Rahu is transiting in Aries and Ketu in Libra. Mars has now moved into Scorpio. Sun has moved into its sign of fall, Libra, where it meets Ketu. The conjunction of the Sun, Ketu, and Moon caused a solar eclipse on Sunday. Venus and Mercury exchange signs, as Mercury moves in Libra. Saturn and Neptune are also retrograde in the sign Pisces. The moon moves in Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Capricorn. The Moon moves through the 2nd Tithi of the bright half to the 6th Tithi of the bright half. The moon does not give good results in this combination of signs and Tithis. Combining the transit and CVD techniques, the following is my estimate of the daily behavior of the stock market.
Monday: Lower; Tuesday: Lower; Wednesday: Slightly lower; Thursday: Flat; Friday: Higher.
