During the period (11/18/2024 - 12/17/2024), the U.S. stock market measured with S&P500 remained flat as it moved around 5870. I was also expecting a flat market.

The US stock market may resume going higher during the month (December 18, 2024, to January 15, 2025). Jupiter is retrograde and occupies the third house in the sign Gemini. This is a favorable feature. It aspects Venus in the eleventh house. Moon occupies the fifth house and also aspects by Venus in the eleventh house. This setup of three benefic planets can also be beneficial for the markets. The planet Mars in the sign Leo occupies the fifth house. It makes trine aspects with Mercury occupying the ninth house and Rahu in the first house. This is another positive feature. Saturn occupies the twelfth house in Pisces, and is involved in square aspect with Mercury in the ninth house. This is only an unfoavorable feature. Considering everything together, I am of the opinion that this month can be a higher month for the U.S. stock market.

The market may go sideways during the period, from January 16, 2025 to February 14, 2025. The critical planet, Mars is fallen and retrogrde, but it occupies the tenth house. This can cause a lot of volatility but it is a neutral feature, as it makes a trine aspect with Neptune and Rahu present in the sixth house. Saturn in the sign Pisces occupies the sixth house, along with exalted Venus. This is a positive feature. They also make a square aspect with Jupiter in the ninth. This is an undesirable feature. Moon occupies the twlefth house in the sign Virgo and gets the aspect of Venus. This is a neutral feature. Combining the effects of all features, I think we may have a solar month that could go either sideways or slightly lower.
