Dec 02 – 06, 2024

The S&P500 gained 63 points last week. My forecast this week was correct

Here is the expected breakdown for the week of  December 02, 2024, to December 06, 2024

The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for  Nov 28 – Dec 02 is Mercury, which occupies the fifth house in the sign Sagittarius. Mercury gets the aspect of benevolent Jupiter in the eleventh house. However, it also gets the malevolent aspect of Saturn. Consequently, the market may be volatile but unable to find any direction during these days or remain flat.

The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for  Dec 03 is Ketu. Ketu occupies the third house in the Libra sign.  Ketu makes no aspect with any planet and no benefit planet aspects it. As a result, the market may go lower during this period.

The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for  Dec 04 – Dec 09 is Venus, which occupies the sixth house in the sign Capricorn. Venus gets the aspect of the Moon in the twelfth house. However, although both planets are benefic planets, they occupy the inauspicious houses. Consequently, the market may be volatile but unable to find any direction during these days or remain flat.

Transits during this week:  Retrograde Jupiter remains in Gemini, causing volatility. Jupiter aspects Sun and Mercury in Sagittarius. These aspects are favorable. Saturn has turned direct now.  It does not cast its influence on any other transiting planet. Venus transits in Capricorn and makes a trine aspect with retrograde Uranus, which continues to transit through Taurus this week. This is also a favorable aspect. Mars transits in powerful Leo, making a trine angle with Rahu transiting in Aries, which is another favorable setup.  The Sun is advancing in Sagittarius this week, along with retrograde Mercury. Mercury thus exchanges signs with Jupiter.  Moon transits Sagittarius, Capricorn, and Aquarius. The tithis of the Moon (Shukla Paksha first to sixth) correspond to the first quarter, which is not helpful for the market.

Combining the transit and CVD techniques, I have estimated the stock market’s daily behavior to be the following.

Monday: Slightly lower; Tuesday: Flat;   Wednesday:  Slightly lower;   Thursday: Slightly higher;   Friday: Flat.

Overall, the S&P500 may go slightly lower this week.
