The S&P500 gained 58 points last week. My forecast this week was slightly off.
Here is the expected breakdown for the week of December 09, 2024, to December 13, 2024.
The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for Dec 04 – Dec 09 is Venus, which occupies the sixth house in the sign Capricorn. Venus gets the aspect of the Moon in the twelfth house. However, although both planets are beneficial, they occupy the inauspicious houses. Consequently, the market may be volatile but unable to find any direction during these days or remain flat.
The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for Dec 10 is the Sun, which occupies the fourth house in the Scorpio sign. The Sun makes an opposite aspect with Uranus and a trine aspect with Neptune. As a result, the market may go nowhere during this period.
The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for Dec 11 – Dec 13 is the Moon, which occupies the twelfth house in the sign Cancer. Moon gets the aspect of benevolent Venus in the sixth house. It also makes a trine aspect with Saturn. Consequently, the market may go higher towards the end of the week.
Transits during this week: Retrograde Jupiter remains in Gemini, causing volatility. Jupiter aspects the Sun and retrograde Mercury in Sagittarius. These aspects are favorable. Saturn has turned direct now. It also aspects transiting Sun and retrograde Mercury. These aspects are not favorable. Venus moves into Aquarius, which is a favorable sign for it. It makes an opposite aspect with retrograde Mars, which is not favorable. Mars transits in powerful Leo, making a trine angle with retrograde Mercury transiting in Sagittarius, which is a favorable setup. The Sun is advancing in Sagittarius this week, along with retrograde Mercury. Mercury thus exchanges signs with Jupiter. Moon transits Aries, Taurus, and Gemini. The tithis of the Moon (Shukla Paksha ninth to thirteenth) correspond to the second quarter, which is not helpful for the market.
Combining the transit and CVD techniques, I have estimated the stock market’s daily behavior to be the following.
Monday: Slightly higher; Tuesday: Slightly higher; Wednesday: Slightly higher ; Thursday: Slightly lower; Friday: Slightly higher.
