Nov 09 – 13, 2026

The S&P 500 declined 204 points last week. I was not right this week because I overlooked the square aspect between Mars and retrograde Mercury, and Mars and Ketu coming closer together.

Here is the expected breakdown for the week of November o9, 2026, to November 13, 2026.

1. Vimshottri periods in the NYSE chart: Mercury/Rahu/Mercury/Saturn until November 19: Stocks can go lower, particularly semis, software and health care stocks.

2. Monthly Solar Return Chart since October 20:

Ketu is next in line in the CVD schemes. Its period runs from November 09. It is in Leo and ot occupies the eighth house along with Mars and Ketu. Ketu is a malefic planet and is weak. Therefore, the stock market may decline.

Venus is the next planet in the CVD scheme. Its control period runs from November 10 to November 15. It is retrograde, occupies the eleventh house, and is in Scorpio. It is also combust as it is within 6 degrees of the Sun. Although Venus is a benefic planet, it is weak.  Markets can thus remain flat.

3. Transits during this week:

The Sun is now transiting Scorpio, a sign of its friend. On Monday (Nov 09), the Moon transits Scorpio and transits over the Sun. The first Tithi of the dark half is generally unfavorable. As a result, the stock market may go lower.

On Tuesday (Nov 10), the Moon advances in Sagittarius, opposing retrograde Uranus. However, Mars, the weekday planet, conjuncts Jupiter and Ketu. As a result, Tuesday may be a slightly lower day for the markets.

On Wednesday (Nov 11), the Moon advances in Sagittarius. It forms a trine aspect with fallen and retrograde Saturn. Wednesday may therefore be a slightly higher day.

On Thursday (Nov 12), the Moon transits in Sagittarius and forms a trine aspect with Jupiter, Mars and Ketu. The net result may be a flat day in the markets.

On Friday (Nov 13), the Moon transits in Capricorn. It also transits square to Saturn. Friday may be a slightly lower day in the stock market.

By combining the transit and CVD techniques, I have estimated the stock market’s daily behavior as follows.

Monday: Lower; Tuesday: Slightly lower; Wednesday: Slightly higher;  Thursday: Flat; Friday: Slightly Lower.

Overall, the S&P 500 is expected to be volatile and end lower this week.
