Nov 02 – 06,2026

The S&P 500 declined 46 points last week. I expected it to remain flat or go higher. However, my daily forecast was off this time because I overlooked the square aspect between Mars and retrograde Mercury.

Here is the expected breakdown for the week of November o2, 2026, to November 06, 2026.

1. Vimshottri periods in the NYSE chart: Mercury/Rahu/Mercury/Jupiter until November 12: Stocks can go higher, particularly gold, financial and health care stocks.

2. Monthly Solar Return Chart since October 20:

Saturn is next in line in the CVD schemes. Its period runs from October 31 to November 03. It is in Aries and is retrograde. Saturn is a malefic planet and is weak. Therefore, the stock market may decline. However, I feel that its effect was already observed last Friday.

Mercury is the next planet in the CVD scheme. Its control period runs from November 04 to November 08. It occupies the eleventh house, and its sign is Scorpio. It makes a square aspect with Jupiter in the eighth house. Mercury is therefore expected to have only a slight positive effect on the market. Markets can thus rise slightly.

3. Transits during this week:

The Sun is now transiting Scorpio, a sign of its friend. On Monday (Nov 02), the Moon transits Leo and transits over Mars and Jupiter. The ninth Tithi of the dark half is generally favorable. As a result, the stock market may go higher.

On Tuesday (Nov 03), the Moon advances in Virgo, squaring retrograde Uranus. However, the Moon is hemmed between Jupiter and Venus. As a result, Tuesday may be a higher day for the markets.

On Wednesday (Nov 04), the Moon advances in Virgo. It remains hemmed between Venus and Jupiter. Wednesday may therefore be a slightly higher day.

On Thursday (Nov 05), the Moon transits in Libra and forms an opposite aspect with Neptune. The net result may be a flat day in the markets.

On Friday (Nov 06), the Moon transits in Libra, and its Tithi is the 13th of the dark half, which is generally positive for US stocks. It also transits opposite to Saturn. Friday may be a slightly lower day in the stock market.

By combining the transit and CVD techniques, I have estimated the stock market’s daily behavior as follows.

Monday: Higher; Tuesday: Slightly Higher; Wednesday: Slightly Higher;  Thursday: Flat; Friday: Slightly Lower.

Overall, the S&P 500 is expected to be volatile and end slightly higher this week.
