The S&P500 gained 48 points last week. I was expecting a slightly lower market. The daily forecast was also not accurate.
Here is the expected breakdown for the week of July 15, 2024 to July 19, 2024.
The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for July 13 – July 14 is Mars. Mars occupies the 5th house in the sign, Taurus. It rules the fourth house. and makes an opposite aspect with Moon occupying the 11th house. As a result, the market may go only slightly higher.
The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for July 15 – July18 is Rahu. Rahu occupies the 4th house in the sign, Aries. It makes sextile aspect with Jupiter. Rahu generally gives positive results in this setup. As a result, the market may go slightly higher during this period.
A new monthly solar return chart is applicable from July 19 and will stay effective until August 18. The month lord is Jupiter, which occupies the 11th house in the sign Gemini. Jupiter gives good results in this house. But in the sign Gemini, it causes frequent moves in the opposite directions. Still, its influence can only be positive. Mars occupies 10th house in the sign Taurus, and makes a sextile aspect with the Sun. It can, therefore, only be regarded as positive. Saturn is retrograde and occupies the 8th house. It makes wide aspects with many planets but close with none. It can, therefore, only give inauspicious results. Moon occupies the 6th house in the sign Capricorn and makes no aspect. This is a negative feature. Combining all the features, I find that both positive and negative features are equally strong. This month, therefore, looks only volatile but flat to me.
The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for July 19 is Ketu. Ketu occupies the 3rd house in the sign, Libra. Ketu generally gives poor results. However, Jupiter aspects it from the eleventh house. It, therefore, acts as a neutral planet. As a result, the market may remain flat during this period.
Transits during this week: Jupiter is well established in the sign Gemini now while Uranus continues to transit through Taurus during this week. Rahu is transiting in Aries and Ketu in Libra. Sun is advancing in Cancer. But Venus has moved on to Leo to join Mercury. Saturn and Neptune are well established in Pisces. However both have turned retrograde now. Mars is transiting halfway through the sign Taurus. The Moon moves in Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Capricorn, and through the 10th Tithi of the bright half to the 14th Tithi of the bright half. The Moon gives bad results in these signs and good in the second quarter. The Moon and the Sun form good yogas during this week. Combining the transit and CVD techniques, the following is my estimate of the daily behavior of the stock market.
Monday: Slightly higher; Tuesday: Flat; Wednesday:Higher; Thursday: Flat; Friday: Slightly higher.
