July 29 – Aug 02, 2024

The S&P500 lost 46 points last week. I was also expecting a lower market. My daily forecast was pretty good too.

Here is the expected breakdown for the week of  July 29, 2024 to August 02, 2024.

The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for  July 29 is Mars. Mars occupies the tenth house in the sign, Taurus. It rules the ninth house and makes sextile aspects with Sun occupying the 12th house and Neptune occupying the eighth house. Mars ia malefic planet but involved in good aspects. As a result, the market may not be able to find any direction.

The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for  July 30 – August 03 is Rahu. Rahu occupies the ninth house in the sign, Aries. It makes trine aspect with Venus in the first house. It also makes a sextile aspect with Jupiter in the eleventh house. Consequently, the market may be volatile but may end higher during this period.

Transits during this week:  Jupiter is well established in the sign Gemini now while Uranus continues to transit through Taurus during this week. Rahu is transiting in Aries and Ketu in Libra. The Sun moves into Leo where Venus is already transiting. Mercury moves in its own sign, Virgi. Saturn and Neptune are well established in Pisces. However, both have turned retrograde now. Retrograde Saturn is not a welcome feature. Mars moves over to Gemini, a sign of its dislike. The Moon moves in Taurus, Gemini, and Cancer, and through the 9th Tithi of the dark half to the 14th Tithi of the dark half. The Moon gives good results in these signs and in the fourth quarter. The Moon and the Sun form good yoga on Wednesday but bad yoga on Thursday of this week.  Three planets, Sun, Moon and Mercury, are strong but there are a lot of square aspects between the planets. Combining the transit and CVD techniques, the following is my estimate of the daily behavior of the stock market.

Monday: Flat; Tuesday: Slightly higher;   Wednesday:Slightly higher;   Thursday: Slightly lower;   Friday: Slightly higher

Overall, the S&P500 may go slightly higher during this week.
