Aug 31 – Sep 04, 2020

A few weeks ago, I changed the format of this page. Instead of giving daily predictions, I am now writing about the shorter periods of the week. The basis is the compressed-vimshottri-dasha (CVD) planet in the monthly Solar return chart (mSRC).

My prediction last week was correct as SP500 gained nearly 100 points, as I was expecting a higher market.

Here is the expected breakdown of the week of  August 31, 2020 – September 04, 2020.

The CVD planet for the period August 30 – September 03 is Rahu. Rahu is placed in the 6th house with no aspect from any benefic or malefic planet. This is not a good configuration and could result in a lower market.

The CVD planet for the period September 04 -September 08 is Jupiter. Jupiter rules the 12th house and is situated in the 1st house in the sign Capricorn. Jupiter gets the influence of  Venus in the 7th house. This setup is good for the market and can result in higher values for the indexes.

Overall this week the S&P 500 may go LOWER, because the market may be down 4 days and up only 1 day.

The week after that may start with a higher day on September 08, 2020.

Note: This forecast is strictly based on astrological considerations. This is only for academic interest and not intended for trading.

It is my one of ten for 2024. I know it has been underperforming lately. From astrology point of view, one should not mess with it and hold it throughout 2024.
Let us see how it behaves for the rest of the year.

  3. Dear Dr. Chadha.

    Thank you for your website.

Dr. Chadha, what do you think of Microstrategy (MSTR), IPO June 11, 1998?

Of your 2024 recommendations, I have APP, BMRN and RIOT.
APP has had a spectacular run and appears to still be bullish.
BMRN was on its way to price recovery last week then boom! It sank big time after earnings call.
I am knee-deep in losses on RIOT and BMRN but I am confident RIOT will be up again soon. It is more than a mining stock and has a stash of bitcoin besides.

    Namaste.

Namaste. First of all, whatever I put on my website are not my recommendations. Please read the disclaimer. You should do your own study before buying anything. Also, you should own more than 3 stocks to mitigate unforeseen events in any articular stocks. Perhaps you should also use stop loss orders to avoid big losses.
I am quite hopeful that the bitcoin miners like RIOT and MARA would recover soon. I am also hopeful about BMRN, as the market has overacted to its earnings, which were good.
MSTR also look good from astrology point of view, but it is too volatile for me to handle. You should also be extra careful with such stocks.

      • I understand, sir. Anyone who invests in the stock market should do so at their own risk. I was merely stating the positions I took after doing my own research. I was not being negative or blaming anyone.

I genuinely appreciate that you share your astrological insights despite potential backlash if things do not turn out as expected. If stock-picking were that easy, no one would lose money.

Thank you so much for taking a look at MSTR!

I apprecite any feedback. Yes, as you mentioned, stock picking is not an easy task. Money mangers pay million of dollars to their analysts and still lose money. I am still doing better than them.

Purely on the basis of astrological techniques, I can say that the period between Aug 2024 and April 2026 may be good. The anthradasha of Jupiter will run, which makes a number of good aspects with other planets in the IPO day chart. Let us see how it turns out.
      Good luck

  5. Hi Dr. Rai,
What are your thoughts about stock IBTA. It’s launched on 18th April Thursday. Do you think SOUN will come back to it’s $7-8 range again. Thanks!!

IBTA is a brand new stock. The astrology chart haas some good features but my experience suggests that you should wait at least 6 months before investing in an IPO. A good period does not start until March 2026.
Yes, SOUN is in a bad shape. But its astrology chart suggest that it will survive and thrive. Let us see.

  6. Good Morning Dr. Chadha,

Any chance you could take a look at Endava stock symbol DAVA . Looks like it started trading on nyse on July 27th 2018 according to their website. Also wondering if you could take a look at NVTS. Navitas semiconductor company October 20, 2021 seems to be when they went public. Thank you for your help and time as always..

DAVA is an English company. Its astrology chart is valid only if it was not traded anywhere else before 7/27/2018. Assuming this is the IPO date, its chart and Dasha are not impressive. I will try to find better stocks than this.
NVTS is a Long Angeles company. Both the chart and Dasha are good. Although this is a penny stock, I think it can do good long term.
      Good luck

  7. Sir,
1st: thank you for patiently answering all the questions here again and again.
2nd: regarding your yearly recommendation list… when will you do the revision after Q1 or are you not planning to do so anymore?
Riot for example looks disasterous… right now, the whole business model seems to be questionable.
Thank you so much for your advice again,
    Martin
