Nov 04 – 08,2024

The S&P500 lost 80 points last week. I was expecting a flat/slightly higher market. Uncertainty about the U.S. presidential election and earnings week hit the market more severely, especially on Thursday.

Here is the expected breakdown for the week of  November 05, 2024, to November 08, 2024

The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for  Nov 01 – Nov 05 is Saturn, which rules the 7th house and occupies the 8th house. Saturn makes a square aspect with Jupiter in the 11th house and a trine aspect with Mercury in the fourth house. Consequently, the market may go slightly lower during these days

The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for  Nov 06 – Nov 10 is Mercury. Mercury rules the second house and occupies the fourth house in the Scorpio sign.  Mercury makes a trine aspect with Saturn. This setup may be regarded as slightly positive. As a result, the market may go slightly higher during this period.

Transits during this week:  Jupiter has now turned retrograde on October 08. Uranus continues to transit through Taurus this week and has also been retrograded. Rahu is transiting in Aries and Ketu in Libra. The Sun continues to transit through Scorpio this week, while Mercury moves into Sagittarius on November 03. Venus has been transiting in Sagittarius since October 18, which is not a very harmonious sign for Venus. It also makes a square aspect with retrograde Neptune in Pisces. Retrogradation of four planets, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus, is not a welcome feature. Mars moves into Leo on November 05, but it continues to make a trine aspect with Mercury. Moon transits Sagittarius, Capricorn, and Aquarius. The tithis of the Moon correspond to the first quarter, which is not helpful for the market.

Combining the transit and CVD techniques, I have estimated the stock market’s daily behavior to be the following.

Monday: Slightly lower; Tuesday: Slightly lower;   Wednesday: Flat;   Thursday: Lower;   Friday: Lower.

Overall, the S&P500 may go Lower this week.

Thank you for your comments. I respect Narsimha Rao more than anybody. But I strongly feel that if all Indian astrologers switch to Tropical signs, they can improve their results substantially. That is the reason, I point this out whenever I get a chance. Regarding the new president, the whole country has spoken that it needs him. I also feel that he is a much improved person now, and is the need of the entire world. He is not a soft spoken person but wants to do the right things, unlike Democrats who say the right words but divide the society on color, race, and gender.
I am now working on ten stocks for 2025, and considering all stocks connected to cryptocurrencies. Hopefully, COIN appears on the list.
      Thanks again

From astrology point of view 2025 may be good year for ANET. It may appear on my list of ten best for 2025 also. Let us see if it behaves as I expect.
