Oct 28 – Nov 01, 2024

The S&P500 lost 56 points last week. I was expecting a flat/slightly higher market. I should have considered and included a technical correction after six continuous higher weeks.

Here is the expected breakdown for the week of  October 28, 2024, to November 01, 2024

The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for  Oct 28 – Oct 31 is Jupiter. Moon rules the 5th house and occupies the 11th house in the Gemini sign.  This setup may be regarded as positive. However, Jupiter makes a square aspect with retrograde Saturn and retrograde Neptune. It also aspects the Sun in the third house. As a result, the market may go slightly higher during this period.

The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for  Nov 01 – Nov 05 is Saturn, which rules the 7th house and occupies the 8th house. Saturn makes a square aspect with Jupiter in the 11th house and a trine aspect with Mercury in the fourth house. Consequently, the market may go slightly lower during these days

Transits during this week:  Jupiter has now turned retrograde on October 08. Uranus continues to transit through Taurus this week and has also been retrograded. Rahu is transiting in Aries and Ketu in Libra. The Sun and Mercury continue to transit through Scorpio this week. Venus has been transiting in Sagittarius since October 18, which is not a very harmonious sign for Venus. Saturn and Neptune are well established in Pisces. However, both have turned retrograde now. Retrogradation of four planets, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus, is not a welcome feature. Mars remains in Cancer but will move into Leo next week. It is now making a grand trine with Mercury and retrograde Neptune, which is quite a favorable setup. Moon transits Virgo, Libra, and Scorpio, making trine aspects with Jupiter and Mars. The tithis of the Moon correspond to the fourth quarter, which can also help the market.

Combining the transit and CVD techniques, I have estimated the stock market’s daily behavior to be the following.

Monday: Slightly lower; Tuesday: Flat;   Wednesday: Slightly higher;   Thursday: Slightly higher;   Friday: Slightly higher.

Overall, the S&P500 may go Slightly higher this week.
