Aug 31 – Sep 04, 2020

A few weeks ago, I changed the format of this page. Instead of giving daily predictions, I am now writing about the shorter periods of the week. The basis is the compressed-vimshottri-dasha (CVD) planet in the monthly Solar return chart (mSRC).

My prediction last week was correct as SP500 gained nearly 100 points, as I was expecting a higher market.

Here is the expected breakdown of the week of  August 31, 2020 – September 04, 2020.

The CVD planet for the period August 30 – September 03 is Rahu. Rahu is placed in the 6th house with no aspect from any benefic or malefic planet. This is not a good configuration and could result in a lower market.

The CVD planet for the period September 04 -September 08 is Jupiter. Jupiter rules the 12th house and is situated in the 1st house in the sign Capricorn. Jupiter gets the influence of  Venus in the 7th house. This setup is good for the market and can result in higher values for the indexes.

Overall this week the S&P 500 may go LOWER, because the market may be down 4 days and up only 1 day.

The week after that may start with a higher day on September 08, 2020.

Note: This forecast is strictly based on astrological considerations. This is only for academic interest and not intended for trading.

From the astrology perspective, it is not a time to invest in AMD, although a lot of investors are pounding on its recovery. I will not invest too much in this stock, a little bit is OK.

  2. Hello Sir,

can you please let me know when the good period of REGN (regeneron) and UNH (United health) will come?
I lost quite a lot 🙁 I thought solid performing pharma health stocks wont crash like they did.

Yes, they did bad. One needs to have to have a point in mind, when he would sell, no matter what, to cut more losses. I suggest one should sell at a loss of 20%, to avoid losing 50%. Now, the best you can do is to wait out the correction in the pharma sector. This sector can recover after discussions about tariff are over.

  3. Raj,

Based on the yearly forecast, does it make sense to sell strong performing stocks (palentir, hims, etc…) in July during the peak, then buying them back in September during the dip? Seems like the best way to lock in profits.

    thank you

  4. Hello Raj,

Palentir is now trading over $100 per share. Do you think it should be sold or do you think it will continue to climb?

    thank you so much

    • Jupiter period is running for Palantire. It is a long period, and it just started last year. I would suggest to trade around it. Keep a few shares for the long term, and buy and sell other shares when it goes down or move up.
      Good luck

I have given up on Intel. Maybe you should also take losses and move on to something else.

  6. Dear Raj,
Thank you for your service and detailed analysis. Can you please comments if you see any mini or major pull back in the gold prices in the coming months vs. current level to make an entry. Or you expect Gold will continue to rise.

    Thank you,
    RK

Gold may be a good long term hold until 2030. On the short term, I think May and June may be down months and July and October up months.

Jai shri Ram. Looking at the astrology chart of SHOP, it is quite likley good as a core holding and better for trading around it. Since Moon occupies the first house, its performance could be described as cyclical.
      Good luck
