A few weeks ago, I changed the format of this page. Instead of giving daily predictions, I am now writing about the shorter periods of the week. The basis is the compressed-vimshottri-dasha (CVD) planet in the monthly Solar return chart (mSRC).

My prediction last week was correct as SP500 gained nearly 100 points, as I was expecting a higher market. 

Here is the expected breakdown of the week of  August 31, 2020 – September 04, 2020.

The CVD planet for the period August 30 – September 03 is Rahu. Rahu is placed in the 6th house with no aspect from any benefic or malefic planet. This is not a good configuration and could result in a lower market.  

The CVD planet for the period September 04 -September 08 is Jupiter. Jupiter rules the 12th house and is situated in the 1st house in the sign Capricorn. Jupiter gets the influence of  Venus in the 7th house. This setup is good for the market and can result in higher values for the indexes.

Overall this week the S&P 500 may go LOWER, because the market may be down 4 days and up only 1 day.

The week after that may start with a higher day on September 08, 2020.

      I expect both BIDU and FB to do good in near future. Incidentally, I own both. I am not too keen 3D sector including DDD and Organavo.

  3. Hello Raj

    APPLE and Microsoft to reveal earning results today after market. Do you think the earnings for both companies will beat forecasts? If so we should see a surge in the NASDAQ correct?

      I cannot say whether a stock will beat earnings or not, but I expect both to do good in near future. I am seeing a correction in second half of August. If it happened they will correct with the market.

          Domyou think stock can continue to go higher? It has been a takeover target for a while but nothing as yet…..

          As you know my astrological analysis cannot give exact extent of the market swings, but I expect second half of August to produce a correction of the order of 5-10%.
          As it happened in April, it is possible this time also that there may be a bigger correction in small or growth stocks and smaller correction in the stocks of large and stable companies.

          • Raj – Thankyou for this information as always. So Biomarin released better results and as a result is trading slightly higher. This is expected naturally. Does your system tell us where this stock is likely to rise or fall too or just simply that as you say ‘it has its good days’?? If so where would you see this going to ?

              since I look at the planets only, I cannot say how much a stock will rise or fall. I can only say until what time it can go up or down, that too only vaguely.

  4. Raj, I see defense stocks are lurking for the past 5 months toward breakout again. Do you have any thoughts on NOC, LMT, RTN, and BA? Also do you see a USA and Russia arms race again leading to WWIII, maybe in 2028 when Uranus hit the 9th degree of Gemini. For every 84 years USA goes thru big events as in 1944 (WWII), 1860(Civil War),and 1776(Independence).

      I am not too much into politics. Moreover, I do not include Uranus in my studies. However defense stocks have been great performers in the past few years, and they may continue to do so in near future. I guess they will correct along with the market.

    Can you please tell how ANIK and CELG will do in near future? I am a long term investor in ANIK and CELG but after Yellen’s remarks on Bio Tech Sector valuation and your comments that bio Tech Sector will take a break after august your advice will be helpful for further investments in this area.

      It is possible that biotech sector may take a break in August along with the entire market. But both ANIK and CELG are good stocks. If you are a long term investor, you should not worry about Yellen’s remarks.

      It has most of the features I look for in its astro-chart. But it could be very volatile in the near future.
      I do not have a dependable IPO date for BAC, so I cannot comment.

      Ford is going through Sat/Sat period. Jup is yogi planet. Both Sat and Jup are exalted in transit. I therefore expect it to go higher for some time now.
      INVN period is Sat/Jup. Both are exalted in transit, but Sat is Avayogi planet. It is therefore possible that it will fluctuate in a range.

      Just my thoughts.
