Feb o3 – 07, 2025

The S&P500 lost 61 points last week. I was expecting a flat market. My forecast this week was off.

Here is the expected breakdown for the week of February 03, 2025, to February 07, 2025

The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for  Feb 01 – Feb 04 is Jupiter, which occupies the ninth house in the sign Gemini. Jupiter makes square aspects with Venus and Saturn occupying the sixth house. It also makes a square aspect with the Moon in the twelfth house. Although Jupiter is a benefic planet, the market may go lower because it is involved in too many square aspects.

The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for  Feb 05 – Feb 09 is Saturn, which occupies the sixth house in the sign Pisces. It sits close to Venus and makes a trine aspect with Mars in the tenth house. Saturn also has a square aspect with Jupiter. As a result, the market may go slightly higher during these days.

Transits during this week:  On Monday, the Moon in the sign Aries makes a square aspected with retrograde weak Mars. It may produce slightly adverse results for the stock market. On Tuesday, Mars makes a trine aspect with Saturn and a sextile aspect with Uranus. As a result, Tuesday may be a good day for the markets, although Mars is fallen and retrograde. Mercury conjuncts the Sun, which makes it combust and weak. It also makes a trine aspect with Jupiter.  Wednesday may, therefore, be a flat day. Jupiter aspects both the Sun and Mercury, but it also makes a square aspect with Saturn. Thursday may, therefore, be a slightly good day.  Venus makes no aspect with any other planet on Friday, but Venus is exalted. Friday, therefore, may be a good day, too.

Combining the transit and CVD techniques, I have estimated the stock market’s daily behavior to be the following. I also dare to give the probable change in the S&P500 in parentheses. This information should not be used for trading, as I could be quite wrong.

Monday: Slightly lower (-20); Tuesday: Higher (+70);  Wednesday: Flat (+/-10);   Thursday: Slightly higher (+20);   Friday: Higher (+70).

Overall, the S&P500 may go HIGHER this week.
