The S&P 500 lost 47 points last week. I also expected it to go slightly lower. However, my daily forecast was correct 5 out of 5 days, although the magnitude of the move off was incorrect.
Here is the expected breakdown for the week of July 27, 2026, to July 31, 2026.
The planet in the Vimshottri scheme is Jupiter, and its term of office is July 27 – July 30. Jupiter occupies the sign Leo in the eighth house and aspects Neptune in the fourth house. Jupiter is a benefic planet, and it is placed in a weak house. This may cause the market to go slightly higher.
Saturn is the compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for July 31 – August 04. Saturn occupies the fourth house in the sign Aries in the monthly solar chart. Saturn is a malefic planet and gives poor results in this sign. The market may, therefore, move down during these days.
Transits during this week:
The Sun is now transiting Cancer, a sign of its friend. On Monday (July 27), the Moon transits Capricorn, and it forms a square aspect with retrograde Saturn in Aries. As a result, the stock market may end lower on Monday.
On Tuesday (July 28), the Moon continues to transit Capricorn, and it forms a trine aspect with Venus in Virgo. As a result, Tuesday may be a flat day for the markets.
On Wednesday (July 29), the Moon advances in Aquarius. It also forms a trine aspect with Uranus. July 29 may therefore also be a slightly higher day.
On Thursday (July 30), the Moon, while transiting in Aquarius, makes multiple aspects. The net result of which can be a flat day for the markets.
The Moon enters Pisces on Friday, July 31. It makes square aspects with Uranus in Gemini, and conjucts Rahu in Aquarius. July 31 may be a slightly higher day in the stock market.
By combining the transit and CVD techniques, I have estimated the stock market’s daily behavior as follows.
Monday: Lower; Tuesday: Flat; Wednesday: Slightly higher; Thursday: Slightly lower; Friday: Slightly higher.
