The S&P500 lost 6 points last week. I was also expecting a flat market. However, the daily forecast was not up to the mark.
Here is the expected breakdown for the week of March 18, 2024, to March 22, 2024.
A new monthly solar return chart is applicable from March 17 and will stay effective until April 15. The month lord is Moon, which occupies the 5th house in the sign Cancer. This is a neutral feature because it has just entered the sign, i.e., the longitude of the Moon is zero degrees. Saturn sits between the Sun and Venus in the 1st house. The other important planet is Mars. Mars occupies the 12th house in the sign Aquarius. This is a negative feature. Moon occupies the Cancer house and makes a trine aspect with Venus. This is a welcome feature. Venus exchanges signs with Jupiter, which is a significantly positive feature. Combining all the features, I find that positive influences are predominant in the monthly chart. This month, therefore, looks slightly positive to me.
The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for March 17 – March 21 is Rahu. Rahu occupies the 2nd house in the sign Aries along with Mercury. Rahu is volatile but it gives good results in this setup. It may therefore produce positive results to cause the market to go higher.
The compressed Vimshottri dasha planet for March 21 – March 25 is Jupiter. Jupiter rules the 10th house and occupies the 3rd house in the sign Taurus. It exchanges signs with exalted Venus. And it makes a sextile aspect with Saturn. It may, therefore, produce only a higher market.
Transits during this week: Jupiter and Uranus continue to transit through Taurus during this week. All planets continue to move direct which is a positive feature. Rahu is transiting in Aries and Ketu in Libra. Venus is advancing in Pisces and it exchanges signs with Jupiter. This setup, in my view, is auspicious. Mercury advances in Aries to cross Rahu. Sun, Saturn, and Neptune are well established in Pisces. The Sun combusts Neptune. The moon moves in Cancer, Leo, and Virgo. The Moon moves through the 9th Tithi of the bright half to the 13th Tithi of the bright half. The Moon gives good results in these Tithis. During the week, the Moon makes a trine aspect with Saturn, Venus, and Mercury, a positive alignment. Combining the transit and CVD techniques, the following is my estimate of the daily behavior of the stock market.
Monday: Higher; Tuesday: Slightly higher; Wednesday: Slightly higher; Thursday: Slightly higher; Friday: Slightly higher.
