Aug 31 – Sep 04, 2020

A few weeks ago, I changed the format of this page. Instead of giving daily predictions, I am now writing about the shorter periods of the week. The basis is the compressed-vimshottri-dasha (CVD) planet in the monthly Solar return chart (mSRC).

My prediction last week was correct as SP500 gained nearly 100 points, as I was expecting a higher market.

Here is the expected breakdown of the week of  August 31, 2020 – September 04, 2020.

The CVD planet for the period August 30 – September 03 is Rahu. Rahu is placed in the 6th house with no aspect from any benefic or malefic planet. This is not a good configuration and could result in a lower market.

The CVD planet for the period September 04 -September 08 is Jupiter. Jupiter rules the 12th house and is situated in the 1st house in the sign Capricorn. Jupiter gets the influence of  Venus in the 7th house. This setup is good for the market and can result in higher values for the indexes.

Overall this week the S&P 500 may go LOWER, because the market may be down 4 days and up only 1 day.

The week after that may start with a higher day on September 08, 2020.

Note: This forecast is strictly based on astrological considerations. This is only for academic interest and not intended for trading.

Looking at its astrological chart, I can say that this company does look promising. It may be volatile, but in the end I cam expect good things from it.

      Good luck

would you mind commenting on TESLA looks like even when they say first car they will deliver will be 2018; still its stock goes up several folds how long this undue exuberance will go on????? or is it just speculative money that is playing
    thanks as always,

Thank you for your encouraging comments.
The momentum is with TSLA. It is a leader, no doubt. But I am in my retirement. I sold it long time ago. No plans to buy it again.

      Thanks

  2. Hi Raj,

How will BIIB do this year? Can you mention good and bad times for BIIB both short and long term? I am considering selling BIIB and buying GILD as it is astrologically good.

    Thanks

I don’t see any advantage in swapping GILD for BIIB as both stocks may move in tendom with biotech sector. In my view biotechs may regain their uptrend later this year.

      Thanks

  3. Hi Raj:

    Many thanks for your reply.
In Jan. 2016, you mentioned that “In my view both CELG and GILD may be good in near future.”
However, you also predicted biotech sector will probably recover after 9/18/2016.
So, do you mean that CELG/GILD will be more bullish after 9/18/2016?

    Thanks for your explanation.

Both CELG and GILD are good stocks in my view. Although it is taking longer than usual for them to recover, but one day they will shine again.
That time may be even sooner than 9/18/2016. I am holding all of my shares in GILD. I sold CELG sometimes back to take profits.

I think MSFT is good for the near future. I will not sell LC now. I will not add also but wait for it to recover until next year.

      Good luck

      • Raj,

LC crashed today. Do you see recovery in long term? This is 5 star stock and highly recommended on your website comparing with StarBucks. Is the IPO date they listed correct?

        Thanks

There seems to be something wrong. Either date or my method. I would sell this stock in such a situation. I hope that this is only a minor component of your portfolio. It might come back some day. But that could take a long time now.

          Good luck

  4. Hi Raj:

    Hope you are doing well.

How will Biotech and Pharma sector perform based on astrological analysis in 2016 respectively?

Will they still get stressed even after presidential election?

    Thank you.

2016 could be a slow/negative year for biotech, as there is no influence on Sagittarius until September 18, 2016 when Mars enters this sign.
