Aug 31 – Sep 04, 2020

A few weeks ago, I changed the format of this page. Instead of giving daily predictions, I am now writing about the shorter periods of the week. The basis is the compressed-vimshottri-dasha (CVD) planet in the monthly Solar return chart (mSRC).

My prediction last week was correct as SP500 gained nearly 100 points, as I was expecting a higher market.

Here is the expected breakdown of the week of  August 31, 2020 – September 04, 2020.

The CVD planet for the period August 30 – September 03 is Rahu. Rahu is placed in the 6th house with no aspect from any benefic or malefic planet. This is not a good configuration and could result in a lower market.

The CVD planet for the period September 04 -September 08 is Jupiter. Jupiter rules the 12th house and is situated in the 1st house in the sign Capricorn. Jupiter gets the influence of  Venus in the 7th house. This setup is good for the market and can result in higher values for the indexes.

Overall this week the S&P 500 may go LOWER, because the market may be down 4 days and up only 1 day.

The week after that may start with a higher day on September 08, 2020.

Note: This forecast is strictly based on astrological considerations. This is only for academic interest and not intended for trading.

It is undergoing a period of Rahu. I therefore believe, that it can stay range bound for some time. It may not fall more, but may not get any higher either.

      Good luck

AMD is currently going through a good period. But the progress seem to be slow. I presume 2018 and 2019 could produce positive results.

      Good luck

I have answered your question on the front page of my website. I am planning to enter into the markets myself now onwards but slowly, as I am expecting more wild swings up and down.

      Good luck

  5. Hi Dr. Raj,

Will the stocks regain fully after March 2018? Should one become passive till March end and buy stocks at that time to get good value?Do you perceive 2019 as average and 2020 as bad year for stocks?
Does market upheavel has any relation to eclipse in January, march and July of 2018?

I have answered some of your question on the front page. Yes I think 2019 may be flat and 2020 bad. But let us wait. At this 2018 has just started.

Rahu represents Cryptocurrencies, I believe. They will therefore stay and be very volatile. I also think Febrauay and March 2018 may be difficult for them.
Things may change after March. Let us see.

      Good luck

EXPE stock may move higher with the market, but long term this stock may not have very bright future. This is my opinion looking at its astro-chart.

      Good luck

      • Thank you Dr.Raj for your response and astrological view. Any thoughts on moving higher timing versus the long term timing in your analysis?

        Thanks again

          • Dr.Raj,

I was only asking about your thoughts on what you mean by long term? is that 5 year time horzion/longer/shorter. I am trying understand your comment about moving with the market as well — does that mean it will move with the market for sometime and then long term, it will underperform?

Generally short term means a few weeks, medium term means a few months, and long term means a few years. 5 years is definitely long term.
