Aug 31 – Sep 04, 2020

A few weeks ago, I changed the format of this page. Instead of giving daily predictions, I am now writing about the shorter periods of the week. The basis is the compressed-vimshottri-dasha (CVD) planet in the monthly Solar return chart (mSRC).

My prediction last week was correct as SP500 gained nearly 100 points, as I was expecting a higher market.

Here is the expected breakdown of the week of  August 31, 2020 – September 04, 2020.

The CVD planet for the period August 30 – September 03 is Rahu. Rahu is placed in the 6th house with no aspect from any benefic or malefic planet. This is not a good configuration and could result in a lower market.

The CVD planet for the period September 04 -September 08 is Jupiter. Jupiter rules the 12th house and is situated in the 1st house in the sign Capricorn. Jupiter gets the influence of  Venus in the 7th house. This setup is good for the market and can result in higher values for the indexes.

Overall this week the S&P 500 may go LOWER, because the market may be down 4 days and up only 1 day.

The week after that may start with a higher day on September 08, 2020.

Note: This forecast is strictly based on astrological considerations. This is only for academic interest and not intended for trading.

  1. Raj,
Hey Raj what do you think about tesla stock.Do you think that in long term it is good to short the stock.I feel it will start going down and will not reach any high than now. Please let me know what do you think about Elon Musk’s chart too? Any financial challenges in future for him? Thank you

The chart for TSLA is very good. I would not short it. It may flucuate for some time, but then it may go higher.
I could not find exact time of birth of Elon Musk, so I cannot comment on his financial well being.

Is it possible to predict when TSLA will start doing good?
Does it go bankrupt due to many issues it is not able to overcome past few years.

  2. Hi Raj:

I appreciate your guidance for the bio-sector. It did out-perform in the last week.
In your view, when will be the sector turn bearish?
    Thank you.

  3. Hello Dr. Raj

Feb turned out to be actually quite bullish, and I see you have changed your guidance for March as well, even though S&P seems to have failed at 2800 once again. Do you still think 2019 will be overall bearish? When do you expect the volatility to come back to the markets?

    Thanks

Yes, my calculaions for February has gone wrong. I realized my mistake and corrected the forecast for March. But I could not change my forecast for February in the middle of February. I am reevaluating my forecast for the whole of 2019. I will let you know if I feel pressed to change it.

It happens. No body cane be correct 100% of time. I am sorry if it has caused any inconvenience. One should not never go 100% cash in the stock market, as the long term trend is always up even though there may be severe corrections in between.

      Thanks you

      • No worries. 🙂

IMO it’s impossible to predict markets even with 80% accuracy, leave alone 100.
It’s also impossible to predict daily market movements, I haven’t come across a single human who can do that without being overly broad.

Your blog is an interesting read overall though. I would like it even better if you wrote an
explanation in Astrological terms for your monthly/longer-term predictions.

You are right in your opinions.

I used to write the astrological explanations, then I stopped, because I found the readers are mostly interested in the results. I may start again.

          Thanks for the suggestion though.

  4. Raj,

I’ve been following your blog for a while now. I find it very interesting. What’s your outlook for oil in March and April 2019?

    Thanks,

  5. Hello Dr. Raj,

Looks like the market may be up all the way till end of April 2019.

Are you still comfortable with the prediction of negative growth of stock market overall in 2019 and 2020?

    Thanks as usual

      • Hello Dr. Raj,

Do you forecast that the downturn for stocks will last from April 20,2019 till end of November and rise in December 2019 similar to what happened in 2018?

        Thanks for very valuable comments.

  6. You used to be good Raj but have fallen behind many astrologers who use multiple parameters to predict the stock market , like uranus, neptune , pluto- ( valid in vedic astrology- see old vedic texts that refer to them), speed of mercury, star lords and so many others. I still follow you and hope that your predictions improve. Thank you sir.

I have lately changed my technique. That is why I sometimes criss-cross. But I am sure my results are going to be far better than before and many other fellow astrologers.
Thank you for following me and checking on me from time to time.

  7. Hi Raj,

It looks like this market has been in up mode all of the Feb. This week also your prediction is for it to go up. But you monthly predictions for Feb are to be bearish. Just wondering when do you see this market turning down.

Thank you for providing the kind service.

You are right. It looks like I am going to be wrong on February prediction. However, I have realize the point I missed while making February prediction. I have therefore corrected my prediction for March in time. Sorry if it has cuased any inconvenience.

      • Raj, based on your new calculations do you still forecast the year 2019 to be bearish? The market has been up 14% YTD. Forecast for March and April is slightly bullish. I am guessing by the end of April market may be 20% up YTD. In order to end bearish by end of the year it will have to go down quite a lot. Can you comment?

  9. Curious on Vedic Astrology

    1. Are stocks physical or logical entity ? How do stocks price fluctuate based on planetary positions only?
    2. Shouldn’t be the CEO responsible for the Company’s ups and down ? Can we read the CEO birth chart and see how does it affects to the company growth ?
    3. Shouldn’t be the state’s policy responsible for stocks falls and down ?
    4. As we see that most of the Stocks are fluctuated based on trade policy, business structure and such and such, Can we do a little research and see
the relation between US and China and US and Russia etc. Similar to relation between the head of country like,
    TRUMP and PUTIN
TRUMP and Xi Jinping based on their birth chart.

    # Can we take small portion of all this effects and take a mean value for the prediction ?

May be you are right on all of the above. But in the end it is the behaviour the participants to move the prices. When I study the chart of a stock I try to study the emotions prevailing in the market for that stock. Admittedly I have not been very successful on that. Now I focus primarily on the direction of the stock market. That is also one of the reasons stocks prices go up and down.

Thanks for the thought provolking mail.
