Aug 31 – Sep 04, 2020

A few weeks ago, I changed the format of this page. Instead of giving daily predictions, I am now writing about the shorter periods of the week. The basis is the compressed-vimshottri-dasha (CVD) planet in the monthly Solar return chart (mSRC).

My prediction last week was correct as SP500 gained nearly 100 points, as I was expecting a higher market.

Here is the expected breakdown of the week of  August 31, 2020 – September 04, 2020.

The CVD planet for the period August 30 – September 03 is Rahu. Rahu is placed in the 6th house with no aspect from any benefic or malefic planet. This is not a good configuration and could result in a lower market.

The CVD planet for the period September 04 -September 08 is Jupiter. Jupiter rules the 12th house and is situated in the 1st house in the sign Capricorn. Jupiter gets the influence of  Venus in the 7th house. This setup is good for the market and can result in higher values for the indexes.

Overall this week the S&P 500 may go LOWER, because the market may be down 4 days and up only 1 day.

The week after that may start with a higher day on September 08, 2020.

Note: This forecast is strictly based on astrological considerations. This is only for academic interest and not intended for trading.

  1. Hi Dr. Raj,

You have been a big help for folks to understand birds eye view of where are we and where we are headed.

Do you foresee slight OR major recovery in November and December of 2019 after bearish August 2019- October 2019?

Will stock market see bullish tendency in 2020 OR just in the month of July in 2020.

Yes, I think the market can come back in November and December, if a correction occurs in August-October 2019.
I have not yet very sure about 2020. I will post it as the time comes by.

  2. Hi Dr. Raj

Can you predict for individual crypto e.g. ripple (XRP) and bitcoin. Do they stand chance for short term and long term?

I do not have data for individual currencies. But the first currency bitcoin has a good chance of surviving for long term. I posted on this website that 2018 could be very bad year, and I avoided 208 completely. I now simply pick up a few shares of GBTC after it undergoes a minor correction and hold for a few days, and then sell quickly. So far I have been fortunate. I won’t hold it ever for more than a week.

  3. Hello Dr. Raj

Given that s&p started the year around 2450, it’s at 2750 right now and you think it will be bullish-flat till July 21st, do you expect entire second half of the year to be bearish?

Any ideas on in which months volatility may spike?

Yes, it is quite likely that we may see a bad second half of 2019. I will post it as the time goes. June and July may show some recovery, but the period between August to October may be quite damaging. I am myself about 60% cash. I think people should put some kind of defensive measures such as buying put options etc.

      Anyway it is my opinion.

      • Sir,

        Please comment on Micron (MU).
It has very appealing P/e and forward P/E. I think it is hammered due to trade war.

Is there any chance for stock price go up in 2019 or 2020? how is it long term?

I use solar return chart to see the direction of the movement of prices. For Micron technology, the new year has just started. In my opnion this year is going to be an excellent one. To be more precise, October 2019 should produce very good results. Consequently I am not selling my shares.

          Good luck

I noticed that ANET is not behaving well since April. I think it should give better results when Jupiter moves into next sign in December 2019. Let us see.

After carefully analyzing Bitcoin chart, it is my opinion that it can go higher from here. But you may wait for dips to buy. I have 1% of my portfolio in GBTC, just for fun. So far no regret.

      Good luck

The varshphala during the period July 2019 to June 2020 does not seem very promising, although TSLA may have better luck during the months of July 2019, November 2019 and May 2020.

          Let us see.

so in your opinion TSLA is not a winner? and stock won’t come back or rise substantially for long run?

            Thanks

I think TSLA will hover in a range for some time to come. You may have to wait until the third quarter of 2021 to see it getting out of the range. This is my opinion based on solar return chart.

              Good luck
