Aug 31 – Sep 04, 2020

A few weeks ago, I changed the format of this page. Instead of giving daily predictions, I am now writing about the shorter periods of the week. The basis is the compressed-vimshottri-dasha (CVD) planet in the monthly Solar return chart (mSRC).

My prediction last week was correct as SP500 gained nearly 100 points, as I was expecting a higher market.

Here is the expected breakdown of the week of  August 31, 2020 – September 04, 2020.

The CVD planet for the period August 30 – September 03 is Rahu. Rahu is placed in the 6th house with no aspect from any benefic or malefic planet. This is not a good configuration and could result in a lower market.

The CVD planet for the period September 04 -September 08 is Jupiter. Jupiter rules the 12th house and is situated in the 1st house in the sign Capricorn. Jupiter gets the influence of  Venus in the 7th house. This setup is good for the market and can result in higher values for the indexes.

Overall this week the S&P 500 may go LOWER, because the market may be down 4 days and up only 1 day.

The week after that may start with a higher day on September 08, 2020.

Note: This forecast is strictly based on astrological considerations. This is only for academic interest and not intended for trading.

  1. Sir,
I kindly ask for your thoughts on Visa, Mastercard and PayPal. Corona seems to become another massive anti cash payment argument…
    Thx and stay healthy

  2. Regarding U.S. Oil birth chart, another Vedic Astrologer I follow sees Rahu Ketu til June 2020, then Venus, so maybe that will change direction of oil…

It is my simplistic model that the strength of Mercury reflects the price of oil, because Mercury stands for digging and wells. It works most of the time but not always. I therefore do not emphasize this on my website like, SPY or gold.

I still believe oil can go higher in April. But you should not trade on this basis alone.

  3. Hello Raj Sir!
I appreciate your live comments and great explanations- Learning a lot from you.
QDEL (8/4/1991, 7AM San Diego) has Me (avayogi) dasa , but Me in 12H – which should make it positive. Also Ra w/ Me should help. Do you see a downgrade in the stock due to Me-Ke dasa after 7/5/2020. What do you think?
    Please let us know.

    Thanks!

My data for QDEL is different from yours. I have 1/31/1991, 6:30, SD. I do not know what to say. But QDEL is a great stock. It has not bugged in this carnage.

  4. Hi Dr. Raj

Do you per astrological consideration expect July – September period to be correction time for stocks like the one in February – March era in 2020?

It may be too early to say, but my cursory looks tell me that July and September may be bad but August could be good.

SUN is a MLP. I could not find a reliable IPO date. I therefore cannot say anuthing about its performance.

  5. Hi

Have you started a new paid service? I got an email to join this service for 20 dollars per month. Wanted to make sure it is genuine.

    Thanks

I sent this message out on March 26.

              Dear Investor:
I would like to start a service based on astrology and a technical indicator, as to when one should go into an ETF (QQQ) and a stock (BAM), and when move out. This simple e-mail would read like this

              Date, QQQ (In/out) BAM (In/Out)

It will be a daily e-mail, but a change in signal may come once in a while depending upon the market. For example, the last sell signal on them came on January 23 and buy signal came on March 23.

I have selected these two, because QQQ contains all the good stocks of USA from different sectors, and BAM (Brookfield Asset Management) is an excellent alternate investment vehicle. Together they give enough diversification. For more details on them, you can visit finance.yahoo.com. More aggressive investors can use QLD (2x) or TQQQ (3x) instead of QQQ. Others can buy or sell options based on the signal.

Please let me know if you are interested. There will be a monthly fee of $20 or an annual fee of $200. You can pay it on paypal. My account is rkctech@yahoo.com. I will start this service from April 1.

              Thanks

  6. Hello Dr Raj,
Any thoughts on DIS and MPC ?
MPC has crashed quite a following oil crash and the virus.
Do you see oil stocks recovering this year ?

    thanks,

It is very difficult to predict about oil. I am stuck in VLO. I guess DIS, and other stocks would improve in May, but not very hopeful about Oil stocks.
I think biotechs could recover faster than any other sector.

If you can buy and forget for a few years, this stock has a good chance of producing good results. I am thinking of buying it myself, but because it is a chinese stock, I am a little hesitant.

      Good luck
