Aug 31 – Sep 04, 2020

A few weeks ago, I changed the format of this page. Instead of giving daily predictions, I am now writing about the shorter periods of the week. The basis is the compressed-vimshottri-dasha (CVD) planet in the monthly Solar return chart (mSRC).

My prediction last week was correct as SP500 gained nearly 100 points, as I was expecting a higher market.

Here is the expected breakdown of the week of  August 31, 2020 – September 04, 2020.

The CVD planet for the period August 30 – September 03 is Rahu. Rahu is placed in the 6th house with no aspect from any benefic or malefic planet. This is not a good configuration and could result in a lower market.

The CVD planet for the period September 04 -September 08 is Jupiter. Jupiter rules the 12th house and is situated in the 1st house in the sign Capricorn. Jupiter gets the influence of  Venus in the 7th house. This setup is good for the market and can result in higher values for the indexes.

Overall this week the S&P 500 may go LOWER, because the market may be down 4 days and up only 1 day.

The week after that may start with a higher day on September 08, 2020.

Note: This forecast is strictly based on astrological considerations. This is only for academic interest and not intended for trading.

  1. Hello Pandit Raj: Namaste. I’m following up on 2 points you’ve touched on previously, namely the ongoing U.S. stock market corrections, and Tesla’s continuous price declines since May 7, 2021. Please see below your commend on U.S. market correction.
It has been very worrisome since 1st week of May, I’ve been observing volatilities on Dow, S&P 500, Nasdaq and the crypto currencies. Would you kindly provide helpful commends whether to sell in May and return in June-July in light of the pending 2021-22 U.S. recession.
Again poor Tesla is in the spotlight again. Is the stock to continue to slid down to the $400-$330 range in the next 2 months?? Based on your astro chart and prognosis of the stock, would you kindly please provide some useful insight to the health of this stock in the next 6-7 months. Thanks. Francis

I have included the June-July forecast today. I think after the May-June correction, the market would recover during June-July. The extent of correction in May-June may not be as severe as last year’s Feb-Mar crash. The recovery during June-July may also not be able to overcome the correction of May-June period completely.
I have also mentioned today that of the May-June correction, the period June 1-10 could be really difficult. Let us how it turns out.
    Good luck

TSLA had phenomenal gain last year. It may slide lower. I have written my long-term opinion about TSLA on my website. You may please read it.
I feel overall the month May 17-Jun 17 to be bad, and next month to be good. But then we may see trouble in the last quarter of 2021 also. TSLA may be the engine of these moves.

  2. Hello Raj

You have been saying that May17-June17 period would be bad for market. Today, you are now saying that May 18-31 portion should be good. In particular, what made you change your mind.

    Thank you

May 18-31 is a part of May 17-June 17. It is possible that there may may be a good week within a bad month.

Let us first see if my calculation of the May17-June17 period comes out correct or not. After that I see the last quarter of 2020 to be a tough period.

  3. Dear Raj,

I remember you mention that GILD will have a great 2022 in one of your previous posts. I missed it at 57. Even during a market drop, the stock is stable or goes up a little. Do you foresee it pulling back during the next few weeks (June ) correction ?

    Thanks a lot,

Yes, I think GILD should be a good stock to own in 2022. I am sure you would see quite a few pullbacks before then.

  4. Hello Dr. Raj,

    I hope you are well.

I have been awaiting the May/June pullback for some time, and notice in the monthly forecast, it has the two of the three red dots highlighted. Forgive me if you have spoken of this before (I couldn’t find it), however do you envision this pullback being equal to the March 2020 pullback, or something more conservative? I also notice in your 2021 yearly forecast, a june/july recovery is possible, with the market regaining some of the losses. Has your perspective changed now that we are at mid-year?

As always, thank you four your insight and guidance.

It has been difficult for me to comment on SPAC’s. I mean, what date should I use for the IPO? The origianl company’s IPO date or the date of merger of the two companies. You better use other techniques to decide about this stock.

  6. Hi Raj. What is your opinion of X (US Steel) and V (Verizon)? X went from $5 to $24 in the last 13 months.

I do not have reliable IPO date of VZ. But X may continue to perform well, because transit Saturn is strong for another year or so.

  7. Hello Dr. Raj,

Can you talk about the link (if any) between bearish stock analysis for late May/early June and the price of BTC?

    Thanks,

I study monthly solar charts. I have more data and experience about stocks than for BTC. I think we may better stick with stocks now. I expect stocks to have a lousy time towards the end of May and the beginning of June. But stocks could recover after that. BTC can also have a somewhat similar pattern. But I am too sure about that.
      Good luck

  8. Hi Raj,

Hope all is well. What do you think of genomics sequencing stocks like CRSP, BEAM, and NTLA (intellia therapeutics), do you think they’re the next great long term investments per Cathie Wood offering 100x-1000x returns like the next Tsla and Amzn? Thanks, love your website!

The inception date charts of the ETF’s ARKK, ARKF and ARKG are excellent. This suggests that they ETFs are managed very well. You should TRADE these ETFs, in stead of buying so many new or unknown companies. By the way, the chart for ARKX is no good.
      Good luck

Looking at the astrology charts of ETFs, we can say how good they will be run or accepted by the public, etc. We cannot foresee its performance, as its performance depends upon the charts of the constituent stocks. This topic is explained in the last lesson of my financial astrology course. The charts of other ETFs of ARK are outstanding, but not of this one. It means it won’t be run well or not liked by the investors, but not that its performance would be poor.
